Welcome to Pleve. These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform and social gathering services. By accessing or using Pleve, you agree to be bound by these terms. We recommend you read them carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities within our community. They include an arbitration clause requiring disputes to be resolved on an individual basis. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Pleve.in
Welcome to www.pleve.in (hereinafter referred to as the "Site"), a digital platform connecting people across India. By using or accessing this Site or its mobile application operated by us, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these Terms, you may not use the Site or any of its services. The terms "we", "us", "our", "Pleve.in" or "Pleve" refer to www.pleve.in, and "you" or "your" refers to the user of the Site, whether as a host, guest, or visitor
1. Platform Scope
Pleve provides a platform for verified social gatherings. We facilitate connections between hosts and guests but do not directly manage the events themselves. Users & Hosts are responsible for their conduct and interactions during these gatherings.
The Site acts solely as a venue; it is not an organizer or host of any event. Users are solely responsible for their use of the Site and any resulting transactions.
Any physical, mental, financial or social liabilities arising between two or more parties is solely their business, and Pleve.in and it's subsidiaries are exempt from any legal or financial liabilities. We request you to not share your personal/financial or any confidential information with the Host or other participants, the same is your own bearing and responsibility and Pleve.in will be exempt in any such case.
Fraternizing with the Host or other participants outisde the scope of the specific event will not have any connection to Pleve.in and the website, business, employees and all relevant agents and properties of Pleve.in. The parties are solely responsible for any liabilities or damages arising out of it
2. Verification & Safety
To ensure a high-trust environment, all users must complete government-ID verification (Aadhaar). You agree to provide accurate information. Pleve reserves the right to suspend accounts that fail safety inspections or violate community standards.
We are not a party to any agreement between users. Even if the Site facilitates bookings or communications, the quality, safety, legality, and execution of the event is the responsibility of the users involved.
3. Payments & Cancellations
Pleve.in charges service fees to both hosts and attendees. These are inclusive of applicable taxes and non-refundable. Fees are displayed at the time of listing and booking.
Payments are handled securely via Razorpay. Booking fees are held and released according to our completion policy. Cancellation policies are set by hosts and must be adhered to by all guests.
If you cancel more than 48 hours before the event start time, you are eligible for a 100% refund. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations within 24 hours of the evening.
In the rare event that the host cancels the event, you will be eligible for a 100% refund
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years of age and capable of entering into legally binding contracts to use this Site. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years old.
5. Other Terms
Disclosure of Information: We may report any suspected illegal activity to law enforcement and cooperate with investigations as required.
Legal Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with Bengaluru as the seat of arbitration. However, we retain the right to bring proceedings in any appropriate jurisdiction.
Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pleve.in and its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims or liabilities arising out of your use of the Site, including breach of these Terms or violation of any third-party rights.
Intellectual Property: All content on the Site is owned by Pleve.in and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of Site content is strictly prohibited.
Data Privacy: All personal information collected from the Host or the User is solely for verficiation purposes. Pleve.in does not store Aadhar information. We request you to not share your personal/financial or any confidential information with the Host or other participants
Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site at our discretion without any explanation
Governance
User Responsibilities
Service Usage
Users agree to use the Pleve platform responsibly, providing accurate Aadhaar verification and maintaining respectful conduct during all home-hosted gatherings. Hosts must ensure that their verified home photos accurately represent the physical environment and that hygiene standards meet the community ratings. Misrepresentation or violation of community standards may result in immediate suspension from the platform.
Liability
Pleve acts as an intermediary verified community platform. While we perform Aadhaar verification and personal home inspections, users acknowledge that participation in home-hosted gatherings is at their own risk. Pleve is not liable for personal property damage, individual disputes between guests and hosts, or minor safety incidents that occur during events. All transactions processed via Razorpay are subject to our secure payout policies.
